**Thalia
I didn't want to believe what I had just seen, but everything had played out before my eyes. That stripper just left here, and Vito showed up, so it only meant that the two had made out.
Was that why he came to the garage with his meal? He had someone entertaining him here.
For God's sake, what was even happening to me? Can't there be a man who respects their body out there again? I know I hadn't agreed to be his lady; I don't understand how entertaining it was to get intimate with a stranger who might share something contagious with you.
So filthy!
I turned around immediately so I could begin leaving when I heard his footsteps hurrying towards me. My hair danced at my back, and I fastened my pace, but he grabbed my arm and flung me around in such a way I barely caught myself.
“Lia…!”
My brows knitted, “Huh? Any problem?" I asked curtly and took my arm back from his hands.
He glanced around, and then at me, “You…did you come here for me? How did you get here? Who led you here? How long did you wait?”
I let out a resounding hiss and turned to begin leaving when he stopped me again. “Are you expecting me to answer all those? Why do I owe you an explanation?”
“If you came to see me, then we could go grab a seat.”
“You're crazy to think of doing that with me.” I retorted and shifted backwards. “And don't get closer to me,” I warned and started off the basement as fast as I could.
He kept running behind me, “Lia, please stop and listen to me. What is wrong with you? If you came here for me, then we should at least sit and chat. Did I offend you? Just tell me, and I'll apologise.”
What a dickhead! He was acting like he didn't know what he did, and that told a lot about him. Thankfully, I hadn't even fallen so head over heels for him. And I was sure that, with this, my body, soul, and mind would learn to stay away from thinking about him, and we would focus on ourselves.
“Lia, please hear me out. You can't leave like that.”
I hurried up and didn't stop until I was completely out of the club building. He still came after me there, but hadn't gotten closer when I climbed onto my bike and rode off. I wasn't even in the mood to meet Lilo and would text her when I reached my house. I just regretted being here tonight when I could have just had a nice sleep.
The journey back home helped to soothe my mind. The sound of the bike, the heavy air that slammed on my body, they all calmed my heartbeat before I could reach home.
As I alighted from the bike, I texted Lilo, *Babe, I left earlier than I thought. I caught him with a stripper and can't do this anymore. Please take care of yourself, and I wish you luck with your man.*
I let out a heavy breath and reached out to my apartment door, unlocked it and got in.
The quietness in the house slammed me like a blow as I got in. I hadn't felt lonely in this house until now.
Why did he do that? I could have been giggling with him right now. So I'll have to stay here alone after returning from a noisy area, staring at the whole property in the room.
My eyes began burning, and I knew it was my tears. No matter how much I tried not to do this, it always betrayed me.
I took a deep gulp and dropped my body on the sofa, unable to get rid of any of the things I had put on…not even my boot. Why couldn't I get a man that has senses? Must they all cheat? Was there a benefit in f*****g random p*****s? I will never understand the benefit of a one-night stand with a stranger because you could just do the same thing with your partner. If you don't have one, you get one for yourself if the handjob ain't doing a thing to you.
So how am I supposed to get off my mind that my man had once f****d a stripper and I caught them? Rubbish!
I staggered to my feet and to my fridge where I grabbed two cans of beer. I should just drink so I can get to sleep faster and forget about all these.

**Vito
“She had sent me a message that she left and couldn't do this. She caught you with a stripper.” Lilo barked at my face.
I hissed and grabbed the bottle of beer before me, “I was with no one there. If you doubt me, then check the surveillance camera. Whatever stripper it was could be leaving the restroom and wasn't with me.”
“But what will a stripper be doing down there when there are so many restrooms here? Did you see the stripper, Vito?” The VP asked, and I shook my head. “The footage should be watched so we can grab who the stripper is and reach them with a warning. No one dares to cross lines here.”
Lilo had been restless just as I was since Thalia left. If I had understood why she was pissed, I could have cleared the air immediately.
What on earth would I be doing with a stripper?
“Can you share her contact with me? I have to speak to her.” I asked Lilo, and she shook her head.
“I can't without her permission. Maybe I should explain to her once I confirm that nothing happened between you and the so-called stripper,” she said calmly and tucked her hair behind her ears. “This is messy. I didn't plan tonight like this; now she's going to get drunk alone in that house.”
“What about I go after her?”
“Don't do that, bro…” the Prez said to me. “That will worsen the case at hand. Just wait for some time, maybe after Lilo speaks to her. Then get a flower or anything loved by women and go apologise. By then, she must have calmed down.”
I nodded, "That's right! She could punch me to death if I get there now. But I'm not happy that she would be drinking and in deep sorrow while nothing she was thinking about happened. How come I didn't see the stripper? I had earbuds and was so concentrated with my cell phone.”
This was so devastating. A lady that came to me herself, and I could have gotten a piece of her heart put together. I lost her again.
