Unlike HalloweenLand, which was mostly a big party, every inch of the park had to be polished and perfect for HolidayLand. Pretty much as long as booze and snacks were available and restrooms were clean, October visitors were happy. Give them a couple of creepy or adult HalloweenLand trinkets to show off to their friends (creating a massive free advertising campaign for the park), and they returned year after year. Not so in December. Weirdoes and normal folks alike had money to spend and merry to make, and the park had to get ready for all of them. Thom had helped clean, stock, and redecorate all the gift shops before, amazed at the sheer volume of gifts, souvenirs, and memorabilia guests wanted to buy and take back home with them.
