ISABEL'S POV. The beeping sounds of hospital equipment filled the room around me, serving as a constant reminder of where I was and what had happened to land me here. I sat in the bed, staring out the window at the world outside as the nurses fluttered around me like restless moths. Their questions were too many and that too, unecessary. Does anything hurt? Do you remember what happened? How are you feeling? Can you tell me your name? Can you follow the lights? It was all starting to make me very uncomfortable. I was way too tired for this.
