ISABEL'S POV.
I stood at the window of my new room, watching as pack members filed out of the building and headed toward the pack hall, and I felt my heart sink. An emergency meeting had been called this morning, just some minutes ago. The sun had barely risen when the entire pack got the message, which made me wonder what could be the reason for the meeting and how serious it was. The sight of their hurried movements made me restless and uncomfortable. I wasn’t sure what was happening, but I knew I couldn’t just ignore it. One, I didn't want to be in the dark about whatever it was that was going on and two, I didn't want for alpha Leo to find out I was absent after he'd ordered every pack member available to assemble in the hall.
