“Don’t worry, my parents already left,” Noah suddenly said when he saw me consciously looking around their front yard while fixing my hair. My eyes are puffy and my hair was a mess from all the running I made earlier. Lucky for me, my hair tie is in my wrist. But bad luck because I left my bag at home when I put it down on the couch. Noah had to pay the taxi because of it. Earlier, he had to almost carry me just so the taxi could leave already. I can still remember how careful he was when he helped me sit on the sidewalk floor before he paid for the taxi. We just stayed there with my head leaning on his shoulder and him soothing me down by caressing the top of my hand. He continued that action until my sobs slowly disappeared. I don’t know how long we stayed there but I know it’s long.
