IV Nobody was moving. Lance was holding his arm and looking down as if the ground was the most interesting thing that he saw in his entire life. She was just staring at him, alarmed and scared of what he might do to her since she found out his true identity. The male sighed, he was disappointed that he was this clumsy, it hasn't been too long since he first went to the human realm and yet, somebody already found his secret and he cant even do anything to silence her. Most of all, Kei is cursing that was very mad at the female in bed. “You shouldn't have done that. You made him mad.” Lance said and stared at the female’s eyes with an emotionless gaze, his eyes had returned to his normal, brown ones. Rian was overwhelmed with his dead-on stare that she wished the ground would eat her up. “It wasn't my i-intention to...” Rian spoke in a small voice. Lance once again sighed and picked the locket from the ground with his right hand. The female was shocked, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Lance was a demon. How could he pick up the blessed cross? He should have been burning at this point like what happened earlier. Lance smirked at the female’s expression of confusion. ‘I told you this was going to be dangerous. She knows our weakness.’Kei said with an angry voice. ‘Correction. You mean your weakness. Not mine.’Lance replied using telepathy and then directed his focus on the female. “Didn't you know my dear? Demons are left-handed.” He explains as his left eye went red again. The puzzle was then solved. That is why Lance’s left hand was burning but not his right. Lance walked towards Rian. “Now don't you dare tell a soul....” Lance said. “Or I’ll kill you.” Kei continued. Of course, all of those things were a fraud but Rian didn't know that it was so all she could do was stay silent and nod her head. Lance and Kei knew that humans were vulnerable and fragile creatures. One threat and they'll obey your orders. Lance went to his princely attitude and gave a pat to Rian’s head. “Very good....” he told her and smiled sweetly, he then opened his bag to get something very familiar to Rian. “I had it.” Lance said honestly. “Seems precious. Your sister gave it to you right?” He continued. Rian was really annoyed that he had read her personal diary without even asking her, but how can she nag at a demon or whatever? She still remained curious as to why there were two souls living inside the male. It freaked her out. “Here.” Lance handed her necklace back. “You mustn't remove it. It seems very powerful and it might be the reason why you cant seem to see and feel things as much as before. You removed it earlier right? That was the reason you could see Kei’s—err, my demon’s red eye. People cant see it unless I want them to, but you can. Basically, that necklace protects you and removes your non-human abilities as long as you wear that.” Lance explained. “What are you?” Rian questions as she puts on her necklace, now that she knows its value, those times that she almost lost it scared her. “Do you know Ms. Nosy?” Lance replied. Rian’s brows furrowed in confusion. “No, who is Ms. Nosy?” Rian asks. Lance facepalmed and acted like he was thinking. “Ah wait, let me try to remember. Oh yeah. Thats you.” Lance replied and Rian finally understood it as his face went red in embarrassment. “Lance,I was asking nicely about what you are.” Rian defended. “I was answering you nicely, ah for the record, its Nanya.” ‘Huh? What? So his name is Nanya or whatever?’ Rian though, totally lost. “What?” She finally asked again. “None ya business.” He replied and laughed. “Your stupidity is making me feel victorious.” Lance continued and headed towards the door. “Ah. Nice panties by the way.” He said and finally left Rian fuming in the bed. “You jerk!!” She shouted angrily. “I know~!” Lance replied from the outside of the room. **************** The female went home early, one reason is that she wasn't feeling well and another is she didn't want to encounter any demons. She needed a break. The year started bad. It was hell. Her stuff was beside the infirmary bed and an excuse letter was on a table in her right. She stood up, left the school and went outside the campus. She took out her phone and listened to some music as she walks down the road towards the park. Suddenly, the music stops as her phone vibrated indicating that someone texted her. It was an unknown number. She had one eyebrows raised but opened the text nonetheless. ‘Hey Rian. This is Shin. We’re attending the same school. I got your number from Mike.’ It said. Shin was Rian’s friend from her elementary days but they went to different Junior High Schools. Mike in the other hand, was one of her very close friends but he had to move due to his mother’s job; his father had died when he was still a kid leaving his mother to take care of him alone. All her communications were cut off up till now. Thanks to Shin, it was as if all her bad feelings were washed away. She finally found a friend! ‘Hey Shin! Its been such a long time. Im very glad to hear that we are attending the same school! Now I don't feel lonely anymore!’ She giggles as she sends her reply. The park was close because the workers were doing repairs, the female sighs and decided to come home. ‘Want you meet up tomorrow? Lunch at Rooftop?’ Shin texted once again. It made Rian excited. ‘Sure!’ She replied. Arriving home, she didn't feel hungry so she didn't feel the need to cook so she just went straight to her room, charged her phone and plopped on the bed. She stared at the ceiling and holds the pendant of her necklace. She then remembers Lance’s words. “You mustn't remove it. It seems very powerful and it might be the reason why you cant seem to see and feel things as much as before. You removed it earlier right? That was the reason you could see Kei’s—err, my demon’s red eye. People cant see it unless I want them to, but you can. Basically, that necklace protects you and removes your non-human abilities as long as you wear that.” Lance was a demon at least a part of him is and he threatened to kill her. She could just go to the church and get some exorcists but she thought that if Lance was truly evil, then he wouldn't’t have stopped his Demon from hitting her and by the looks of it, he really tried to keep it in. Lance may be or may not be good. But a 50/50 chance is enough to stop her from hiring some exorcist. *************** ‘I suggest to kill her.’ Kei raised his left hand like a person voting for a classroom president. ‘I second emotion’. This time, her raised his right hand. ‘You know we can’t kill her.’ Lance finally responded to the Demon and groans because he had been repeating his actions for the past hours even though Lance’s responses were always the same. ‘Yeah. But I really suggest to kill her. My right hand thinks the same too.’ Kei was still raising both of his hands. “Uhhhhh. Im going to sleep. Stop annoying me Kei.’ Lance complained as he closes his eyes, trying to get some rest. ‘Puh-please. Im not annoying you. Its called expressing my suggestions.’ Kei said and rolls his eyes. Of course, no one could see Kei except Lance. He clearly see him everyday, in his head, like a 3D character who lives in his brain and always annoys the sh*t out of him. To him, he was like an annoying pop-up ad while you are watching an interesting video on youtube and a dog who never ever stops barking. ‘Damn he is like a menopausal hag who never stops rambling.’ Lance though, his eyebrows almost overlapping with each other. ‘Damn you! We share the same thoughts you stupid assh*le!’ Kei shouted which caused a loud ring in Lance’s head.
