The day is set.

Rian’s parents already went to the school to inform her teachers about her transfer. Rian would have gone too if not for the possibility that Lance would be there. She already stopped attending the classes that were left and thankfully, Lance didn't visit her. She wished that Lance would just let go of his feelings for the female because she knew that she just couldn't give him back his love. She hated to admit this to herself, despite growing fond of the male, she just couldn't accept his nature and she couldn't just leave her hands on the male who she barely knew.

She had lost count of the days that she just stayed in her room, doing things that might help her pass time. It was really boring but she was lazy (and scared at the same time) to go out. It wasn't until her mother asked her if she was ready for the trip later was when she finally moved and packed her things up which was kinda easy. She just shoved her stuff in her big luggage and closed it. Rian was kinda pumped up to go and start a new life. She was ready to leave the past behind and even though things ended up like this (with Lance), at least she had a clear mind about her decisions.

“Ohoho~ Someones looking relax.” Louie said. Even though he faced a lot of hardships in these past months, the male passed his exams in a so-so score. He was also ready to find out how the college system works in another country. Rian and her parents wanted Lian to come with but she really didn't agree and fought for her decisions.

"could you and your brother wait here? Your father and I need to get something at the grocery store" Rosslyn, their mother informed.

" Sure mom" The siblings said in synch.

The pair waved goodbye at their parents as the couple started the car and headed towards their destination.

Unknown to them, another male had been eavesdropping and spying on the family.

‘All the preparations are done. Rian, I hope you said goodbye to your parents. Did you think I will let you leave? You're everything to me’ Lance thought.

Rian was oblivious of the male’s actions. She was glad that the male never approached her again but she didn't know that Lance was always watching her no matter where she goes. Lance was going insane for her.

Lance learned that Rian’s parents made a custom order of a cake and that they are going to fetch it on the day of their departure.

‘I will not let Rian leave like that, I will make her love me. This trip will be your last... Don't blame me. It was your fault that you tried to take my beloved away from me.’ Lance thought, he imagined the couple’s demise in his head and was unable to surpass the grin that was forming on his lips.

He cut the brakes of the car.

Now the siblings were pacing back in forth in their living room, wondering where could their parents be and why were they taking such a long time. Almost two hours has passed since they left. Rian was starting to get worried. She went to her room and closed her eyes to calm herself down, unconsciously falling asleep.

After what she thought to be a second, Rian was harshly awoken by the loud crash coming from the kitchen, she immediately went out of bed and went to where the source of the sound was. To her surprise, she saw her brother in tears.

" Is something wrong, Louie?” She questions.

" G-go to y-your room, Rian.” The male replied, trying to conceal his sniffs and sobs.

"Louie why are you crying ?" Rian, once again, questions the male.

" I said go to your room now!”, the male shouted, Rian had her eyes wide, Lance had never shouted to her before and she felt hurt by the behavior that her brother was showing.

The female looked down to the floor, ran towards her room and locked the door.

“How could my brother say that? Louie never shouted at me before. Did something happen?’ The female thought.

The problems on Rian’s mind kept on adding up and she felt a huge burden in her heart after the events that occurred earlier. She hated fighting with her brother. She then heard a knock on her door.

"Rian, I'm so sorry that I shouted at you.” Louie said, clearly regretting his actions.

The female didn't respond, as much as she hated fighting, she wanted to know why he was crying. The presence soon disappeared and she was left with silence and silence made her thought about things that surrounded her— Lance, Lian, Louie, Transfer. She felt her eyelids getting heavy again as she feel into a deep slumber.

Rian woke up feeling thirsty, she looked at the clock beside her and saw that it was still 4:56 am. She went downstairs and noticed that the kitchen lights were on.

‘Did Mom and Dad come home?’ She thought.

Just then she heard sobs in the kitchen, She began to get scared but because of curiosity, the female silently moved to see who it was , As she began to get closer and closer and saw Louie brother crying.

She knows how much Louie hates it when anyone sees him crying and she was really shocked as to how he let his vulnerable self be displayed to her. He was always strong and an optimist— seeing everything on its positive side. Louie hates to be pitied but Rian couldn't help but hug her brother.

" Why are you crying Louie? You can tell me everything. " She said softly.

" Sorry Sis, but can you go to your room?” He looked at Rian with pleading eyes. He looked miserable and his eyes were very puffy. Despite his unheard pleas, the female didn't agree.

" Louie you can always tell me your Problems! Why do you have to keep it to yourself?!” She shouted at him

" You're my sister and I don't want you to get hurt okay!!! I never did like seeing you crying!” The male snapped and Rian walked out the kitchen.

Rian was heading towards her room when she picked up a torn paper. She opened it and she was devastated by what she saw.

Dear Rian and Louie Schevets,

We are very sorry to inform you that your parents was seen dead in the road this evening, it was proved that the brakes were cut by an unknown person.

Because of what has happen, we are sending you to a protection program.

~ Police

Rian returned to the kitchen, the letter in her shaking hands. When Louie saw it, he cried harder.

" Is this true?” Rian questions. Louie bowed his head, unresponsive.

"is this true?!” She shouted at him. He was unmoving and only his sobs were heard.

"So this is true after all! Why didn't you tell me Louie?! Why!?" She said and punched his chest.

Louie hugged his sister tightly.

" I - I couldn't tell you....how can a brother tell his sister that her parents died ?” Louie said and Rian cried loudly.

“Cry.” Lance uttered and as if on queue, Rian’s tears came out. She just let out her emotions and get drowned in tears.

After for what seemed to be an hour, Rian’s phone rang and it was Louie’s ringtone. I got out of his embrace and

" I need to go Lance, thanks for comforting me.” Rian said and smiles at the male who blushed.

Rian left Lance who was a blushing mess and went outside the campus to meet up with Louie. Once she saw him, she smiled and waved at her older brother.

“Rian. Ive got to tell you something important.” Louie didn't even greet her and immediately stated his purpose. Without waiting for her answer, he continued.

" We will go to England because of the protection program and Aunt is there, you will be the one to decide when will we leave.” Louie said.

Rian was heartbroken. It seemed that she cannot stay here anymore and she had to part with Lance. Louie left and Rian was left on her own, she went back inside the school, hoping to see Lance but instead, she saw something that broke her heart.

Lance was kissing someone else. I looked down as my eyes became watery. I ran away.

“Rian! Its not what you think!” I hear him saying. The female kept on running away, determined to leave Lance and the past behind.

The male however, was enraged at the events that occurred. He thinks that Rian hates him now.

Lost Chapter: Lance’s rage

Rian got a call from her brother and afterwards she left, Lance followed him out after a while but got blocked by a random female.

" Move, I need to find someone.” Lance calmly said.

" Why are you following that b***h? Come and play with me.” the girl said.

Lance was about to speak when a girl pulled him and kissed him roughly. His eyes widen and was about to push her away but then he saw Rian staring at the scene with wide eyes then bowed her head.

"Rian! Its not what you think!” He shouted but Rian never looked back. Lance’s blood was boiling and as he turned around, he saw the girl smirking at him and licking her lips but Lance wasn't amused at all, instead, he choked her till she wasn't breathing anymore. He then took care of the body.
