Lance was awoken by a bright light coming from the sun. Perhaps the tinted windows weren't’t enough to contain its rays, the surroundings were indeed telling him that it was morning and that it was time to get out of his comfortable, warm bed.
It was a bizarre morning. Despite the appearance of the warm sun, small raindrops were evident in the glass window that was the only source of light in his dark room. Kei came inside him room offering him some breakfast in bed, although it was unnecessary. The older demon was getting worried for Lance. He was indeed a mess and now that Rian was nowhere to be seen in these previous days, Kei could only do little to contain his rage. Lance ate the breakfast lifelessly, not wanting to waste Kei’s effort.
“I couldn't find her Kei. In her home, the places shes gone to, any hotels—I cant find her! Where is she?...” Lance said, clearly heartbroken but it was the mornings that gave him a little bit happiness that maybe, maybe, Rian would be there at their classroom, sitting down of the seat in his back. After that, Lance did his routines and immediately headed towards the school.
Seeing Rian’s vacant seat, he couldn't help but sigh, he was guilty that he made her experience pain, it wasn't his intention to but things happened. It was painful for him. Every-time he closes his eyes, he could see Rian’s smiling face and hear her gentle voice.
“Where could Rian be?” He mumbled and someone then placed a hand on his shoulder.
“I know that Rian and you are close so Im telling you this. My dad is a cop and he asked me if I had any classmates with the name Rian Schevets, he told me that she is going to be under a protection program, her residence will be changed and the school that she will be attending to will be changed but he wont tell me where.” Some male with a black hair said and returned to his seat. I stood up and ran towards the rooftop.
“As Ive feared, she left me.” He said as tears fell down his eyes.
