Hera POV
Chloe,Zero and I fly back to Chicago the same day. I don't know if I am imagining things but Zero has been staring at Chloe at every chance he gets.
Then there's Chloe's question earlier, “Is he your boyfriend?”
She thought Zero was my boyfriend? But then again,I am the one who mentioned to her that I am seeing someone.
At the airport,we bid each other goodbye. Nyx picks us up and drops us at the new apartment.
“ You moved out?” Chloe asks when we are ushered inside the beach house.
“ Nah, more like someone's wrecked my old home.” I reply.
“ This one is more beautiful than the last.” Chloe comments and I just smile. Although the house is indeed beautiful, I prefer my old one because it was my fortress.
The following days pass quietly. I resume working at the clinic. Chl
