“He usually isn’t. He has been getting worse as the mating season passes.” Zirri said.
What she said was true and something she has noticed since the day he told her they were mates. His entire demeanor when it came to her has done a complete 180 in the last seven months. He had gone from a beast who hated her to one that loved her and just as vicious when pushed. Zirri looked amazed at the frozen scene before her.
“That's because he is at the end of his rope. From what I know of his kind the mating season for them can be really rough while in the process of bonding. He won’t be normal again until you two actually follow through with the mating. It is costing him greatly to follow your demands.”
