“I thought I told you to stop breaking into my house.” he said putting his briefcase on the nearby chair
“You know good and well Lyles would not let me break in here.”
“Yet here you are.” he said sarcastically as he took his jacket off and draped it over the back of the chair he had put his briefcase in.
“Sage let me in of course. Because she likes getting random attention from her sister in law.”
“How could you let her in?!” Reese said glaring at his wife looking as if his wife had betrayed him.
Sage waved off his question with her hand “Don’t be so rude your highness, your little sister needs you.” Sage said, smirking at the low growl coming from her husband who hated for her to call him by his title since that was how she used to distance herself from him. It seemed so long ago
