“What are you doing?” Zirri asked curiously. She had just told him she would be his mate and nothing really happened.
“We are going to take a nap.”he said simply which only confused Zirri more. She was expecting overwhelming joy, a kiss, any type of reaction at all really.
“Why?”
“Because you need to rest while you heal and I might as well get a nap in too.”
Zirri was confused. There she was, in bed with him, and she just told him that she will be his mate and now he wants to take a nap. It seemed so anticlimactic “Yakir..”
