Eliza's heart was racing as she gazed at Adam, her mind struggling to comprehend the impossible. How was he alive? Why was he here?

Adam's smile grew wider as he approached her, his eyes shining with a knowing glint. "I know this is a lot to take in, Eliza," he said, his voice gentle. "But I've been sent back to help you fulfill your true destiny."
