Shannon’s POV.
Once we are sure that Goddard has gone. We placed the club on lockdown.
“He is sniffing around and we need to take this seriously. We can’t let him think we are on to him.” Terry says and I nod my head at his words.
“Can you keep your eyes and ears on him and his department?” I ask him and he chuckles.
“Already on it. After what we discussed last night, I have already made some calls, and what I was told makes sense. My department had a case a few years ago when Goddard was first made Chief. But it was brushed into the bottomless pit of complaints that were never followed up on. So, the files have been sent to me. I have spoken to my boss, and he told me to keep it under wraps for now, and to gain as much evidence as I can. I sent over what we already found out.” He says
