The silence lasted two seconds before Chase and the rest stood and started screaming and arguing with me. I just stayed sitting and silent as I watched them all lose their minds.
“No, you are not f*****g putting our kids on the line.” Chase says to me with fire in his gaze and I sigh.
“We have to make it believable. It won’t be just our kids. It will be all the kids, and the sweet butts and ol ladies. I know all the women here can handle themselves, and who better to keep the kids all safe while we deal with the issue?” I say I don’t get why they are so against this.
