Shannon’s POV.
I go still at what Dan has just said before he lost consciousness.
“Did he just say what I think he said?” Chase asks, looking from Dan to me. I gulp, my eyebrows furrow and I find myself nodding my head.
“He did, but who the hell has he been talking to?” I ask not sure what to do. All I wanted to do was live my life and Dan should have remained in his lane, not following me across the damn country.
Chase moves and searches Dan for his phone and finds it.
“Do you know the code to open this piece of s**t?” Chase asks me and I take my eyes from Dan and take the phone and add in the code. The phone unlocks and I search through the call list and text messages.
Nothing stands out, there are calls and messages from an unsaved number telling him where to go. But I don’t recog
