Jay had went quiet, making it clear that his story was over. As we walked on, the only sounds that were heard, were of the animals and bugs enjoying their lives. I, of course, wanted more information about Jay and Ari’s story. Why would a father lock up his son? Why, or how, did Ari get stuck in his wolf form? All these questions rattled around in my already crowded mind. As I was contemplating my current situation, I didn’t realize how quiet the woods had become. I looked around and realized, I couldn’t hear a single noise besides the crunch of our footsteps. Where did the bugs and the birds go? It was so eerily silent. I turned slightly to look at Carly. She also seemed to be uneasy. I hadn’t even realized that Eddie was next to me, not until he grabbed my arm and I turned toward him.
