After that ordeal, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to sleep. My nerves were completely shot, and I was shaking like a leaf. So much for my new found “courage”! I was ready to run all the way back to my house and dive under the covers of my bed. I didn’t even have a door here, nothing to keep these apparent crazy people out of my space and away from me. Carly decided to bunk with me, though. She promised she wouldn’t leave. That made me feel a bit better but, could or would she harm me too? Was this a “keep your enemies close”, type of situation? With that thinking, though, I might as well go bunk with the crazy wolf that attacked me. I lay in bed, next to Carly, all night staring into the dark.
