ANA Diane had been here for over three hours now and I had dozed off a couple of times but each time I woke up, she was still there, sitting by the bedside with my hand firmly held in hers. “You okay?” She asked for the umpteenth time as I tried to find a comfortable position to rest my head. I finally gave up and looked at her with droopy eyes. “Where's he?” I suddenly asked. I felt bad for snapping at him and the look on his face when I did that haunted me now that he was actually gone.
