“Death!” Lisa said.
“That is not for you to decide Luna, the Alpha would have to decide what punishment she would be given. Alpha Tyler do you agree with what your Luna says?”.
“No, we shall punish her by whipping,” Ge said quietly and was about to leave with I stopped him, holding him on his feet.
“I didn't do it!”
“You have to listen to me, Alpha Tyler. You were drunk and came to my room on your own. Listen to me!”
“Why should I trust you?” He asked me. “All the time, I have made you know I want nothing to do with you, and what did you do in return? Drug me and make me sleep with you. How dirty can you be?!”
“I—”
It was too late.
He turned his back to me, and he faced one of the guards who long ago came with a whip. “You know what to do.” He said before walking out alongside the elders and Lisa, leaving me with the guards and their whips.
And that was it, the faced me and snapped his fingers, getting the attention of the other men who held a whip.
I was carried and tied to a huge stick and, like a criminal, whipped by the man who the Alpha talked to before leaving.
At the top of my voice, I screamed. “Let me go, please.” I shouted at every given opportunity until I couldn't shout any longer.
I had become as weak as a lifeless leaf and by the time the men stopped whipping me, I had sustained as many injuries as possible.
Moon goddess, why me? Why did I have to go through these sufferings? Ever since I was birthed it has been one suffering to another, “Just take my life” I cried out.
They should have taken me back to the room I was brought from, but nothing like that happened.
I lay on the floor and thought about everything that happened, until the afternoon of the day and up to evening.
Of what use will it be, staying back in a pack I hate?
None of these people would ever love me like I wanted them to, and not even the Alpha who once showed me so much love.
I rolled on the floor, managing the pain in my back area. After enough thoughts, I came up with a decision and waited for the evening to come.

It was dark at night: the exact time I needed to leave the pack. There was no need to remain in the pack anymore, after all.
With this, I ran out of space in the pack where I hid, and out of the compound entirely.
My legs led me through the woods and I did not stop running, especially when I had thoughts of being chased by the same people who have chosen to reject me.
I let my legs lead me to nowhere, crying harder as I ran through the woods.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps behind me. Quickly, I turned around and saw men who were headed in my direction.
At this point, I did nothing but increase my pace.
I was so weak, there was no way I would run faster than these men, but I tried my best to reach a corner that was branched, hiding behind a tree and ceasing the air in my lungs from going through.
The moment I thought all was calm, I came out of my outing place.
“It is too late, Ana,” One of the guards walked out of the place they hid. “Go with us or die at this instant.”
“I can't go—”
“—with you.”
Fear filled my countenance at the sight of the latest development.
I shook at the sight of hefty men who followed me from the pack, falling to the ground.
The air in my lungs dried up at this instant and I caught sight of a heftier man who walked to the spot.
“What shall I do with you Anastasia?” His voice, thick and firm, hit the walls of my head and the next moment, I hit my head on the ground and shut my eyes.
