I watch through blurred vision as Ethan leaves Ezra's bedroom. Tears are streaming down my face as I stare at the empty doorway and will him to come back to me. In my mind I picture him running back into the bedroom and professing his undying love for me. But the longer I through the door I realize that isn't what is going to happen. He actually cut me free.
