Twenty-Two Golf was Steve Gordon’s passion and he took every opportunity to indulge in the game, often using an early morning round to clear his head before going into the office. He liked playing his early morning games on the tree lined public links in the parklands on the edge of the city centre, so that he could have a quick breakfast in the city on his way to work. Steve had persuaded John Harvey to get out of bed early and join him for nine holes on Tuesday mornings.
