There's a visitor?

840 Words
✧~𝑨𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓~✧ After last night. I didn't feel any fear anymore. I'm calm today. I'm not scared! I walked into the bathroom and did what I needed to do. After that, I was already heading to the mansion to start my day. But I stopped at my tracks when I remembered something. "Was it just yesterday?" I managed to mutter. "It is! We just cleaned deeply with the mansion and the plays that surround it! Are they still cleaning until now!?" I ran to the backdoor when I remembered yesterday. I also helped with the cleaning, now, I know I'm deserving to know the reason why we cleaned deeply when we do it once a month. And the whole clean up, once a week. "Aster, there you are. Your mother said we're still not done cleaning. Help in the living room." Mira said when I arrived at the kitchen. She was also busy cleaning again. "Okay, thank you" I said and she responded to me with a nod. I went to the living room and guess what!? They're still cleaning! I got a glimpse of a familiar figure and ran to It. "Mom!" I exclaimed making mom turn to face me. "You're here. Good thing. Hurry up and clean, she'll be arriving soon" Mom seriously said making me furrow my eyebrows. There is a visitor. But.... A girl? She? Who? Is she that special to get the whole mansion cleaned? The whole garden? The whole place!? "A visitor? Who mom?" I asked curiously. My face was still in a dissatisfied look. It can't be them.... It can't be... "Just clean, Aster. You can see we're all busy, right?" Mom paused making me nod. "Good, now hurry up. The dirt doesn't come off by itself." "Okay, mom..." I said plainly and walked towards Liane who was already wiping a vase. "Liane? Who's the visitor? Or a guest?" I asked making her look at me with a smile. "Xander's cousin, Aster. I don't know if it's real." I really furrowed my eyebrows hard. "Cosuin? But mom said it was a girl..." I protested though it was very weak. "That's all i know. Ohh, wait. Probably the...." She trailed off. Is she waht I think she is? "No..." I muttered shaking my head. "It's not her...." I convinced myself, my head was still shaking. "Just kidding, Aster. Calm down. It's not her. Why do you hate her that much, though?" Liane asked making me gulped. 2 years had already passed but I still couldn't get it outside my head. I'm scared.... I'm traumatized. "Aster? Are you okay? You've been staring at me like that for minutes now." I heard a voice saying making me snap back to reality. "Uhm.... Do you still need help?" I suddenly asked while she just nodded. I just helped her for a few minutes then saw one of my friends in here, again. "Mira!" I called out a bit too loud because they suddenly all turned around to see me. "Uhmm.... sorry, just Mira, please." "Why are you looking for me, Aster?" She asked and walked towards me. I smiled. "Why are we all cleaning? Who's the visitor? Or is it a guest? How long will she stay?" "You're asking way too much. How do you know it's a lady?" she asked making me pout. "Lady?" I asked to make sure I didn't hear it wrong. "Yes, the lady with a son. Xander's auntie and his son are Xander's cousin. The one who didn't visit for a long time, now?" I took a step back from her. Mira's face suddenly turned into a curious look. "What's wrong?" she asked. I shook my head still not believing on what she just said. "It's not them...." I managed to choke out. "Huh? Why? It's them, that's why we were cleaning since yesterday. That lady hated dirt." she said and laughed. "Who said that?" I asked in disbelief. By now, I'm already far away form her. I didn't knew but I can't stop. "You're getting very far, Aster." "I said who said it?" I asked again. "Your mother. Just when we started cleaning deep?" "Mom?" After I finish the words, I suddenly crashed into a hard wall, but my head didn't. I looked up with furrowed brows and as expected, Xander was there. The i***t was everywhere! Does he have magic or something? "You know you can't walk backwards without me, right?" He breathes, making me shook my head. "Why?" I asked. "That's because you might get hurt. Am I wrong?" I shook my head again. He wasn't that wrong. But he still had a point. "Fine...." I said pissed from his arrival. I thought he was still asleep! "It's too early to be annoyed, Astrid. Did you eat breakfast?" "Is your aun... Auntie coming here?" I whispered instead of answering his question. I don't have any choice. Xander was already furrowign her brows. He doesn't know? How should I know too? How could I know when they're not sure!?
