Chapter 16 Liselle was in the laboratory. She had been there since the c***k of dawn and did not intend to leave again until she had procured the information which she so desperately needed. The pentagram was ready, as was the vision-melange. Now all she had to do was swallow the separation dust and get on with it. As she raised the packet of fine powder to her lips, she thought about the sorcery she was getting ready to attempt. Dream-questing was not without its dangers. And she was not without her reservations. But she had to do it, she reminded herself. She had tried everything else. And if this didn’t work… No. She would not let such thoughts take root.
