“Jaxon, I am so sorry for your loss. It was so sudden and tragic.” The chief murmured as they stood in front of a casket.
“They told me she was doing better, and that she was going to pull through. I just don’t understand it.” Jaxon sobbed.
“Nobody really understands these things. It is scary how soon one’s number can be up.” The chief replied.
