Chapter 24: The Email
Jaxon decided that while he waited, he would check his emails on his laptop. One email made his blood run cold. The subject line was “Delilah told me everything”
The sender was unknown, and Jaxon couldn’t reply. However, he decided to open the email and see what was inside.
The email read:
“Delilah informed me about the stories you read out loud to her, so I decided to make one of my own.”
Attached was a file. Jaxon scanned it for malware and then opened it when it came up clean. It was a text document.
I don’t know what it is about my need for attention. I guess it stems from being alone so much, and all of my past. However, I need attention. I crave it. And every time another person goes missing, I inadvertently got more attention. Even though they never knew
