I stood there and defended shot after shot. Doing whatever it took to keep the ball out of the goal. Multiple times I ended up sliding across the muddy grass. Each time I went down, George looked like he was going to step forward. One of the reasons I brought him with me was so he could get to know me better. All he seemed to see was the put-together me. Don't get me wrong, if I was dressed in one of my favourite dresses and mud got on it I wouldn't be happy about it. However, I was dressed for the occasion and under those circumstances, I was more than happy to roll around in the mud if needed.
