Chapter Forty

1922 Words

As soon as the decision was made and out there in the universe, everything seemed to be happening so fast. I spoke to Dad about the flat and he agreed he might as well move in, given that he was paying for the flat anyway. He begged me to speak to my mother before I left and I told him I would consider it. I wouldn't. I had no interest in seeing her at all, not after everything her and Bradford had done. There was nothing to talk about anyway, if she couldn't manage to message me it wasn't likely she would bother to come and see me in Italy. I hated the whole thing. I spent my life with her almost being my number one parent because of the distance between me and Dad. Then she had blown all that apart and I realised I could no longer trust her at all. I knew Dad blamed himself for it all.
