53 One week later. Jack tried to steady his breathing as the officer led him down the corridor towards Frank’s cell. He had to keep calm. He’d rehearsed what he wanted to say a thousand times or more in his own head, but he knew he’d likely scrap the lot when he got in there. After all, what could possibly be said? He hadn’t come face to face with Frank since he was arrested. It had probably been for the best.
