Starts With Pain

the next morning, I woke up from the sound of the puppy softly barking into my ear. I wished my dog good morning and I took the dog to the kitchen to feed it. I left the dog so he could eat his food with peace. After that, I went to my laptop to see if I got a response. I saw that they finally sent me an email and quickly clicked on it.

I was instructed that I needed to go to their company building to get an interview by noon. I didn't know what to do because I can't leave my dog alone at my house. After a couple of minutes, I remembered that one of my neighbours is a good friend. I asked my neighbour if he could take care of the dog while I'm gone and at my luck, they agreed. I was happy that I could get a chance to get a good job which won't be boring for me. I quickly got dressed and went to their building and asked the maintenance where I should go to get an interview for becoming a graphic designer. The lady at the counter instructed me to go to the highest floor.

I went to the highest floor and saw many offices next to each other. I continued walking until a lady said my name, Heathcliff? I nodded yes and the lady told me to follow him. I followed him and he showed me the way to the owner of the company. the lady told me to sit and wait until everyone's turn was finished. I saw many people sitting outside the office for what I would assume is for an interview. After almost an hour, It was finally my turn and I went into the office and Mr Hugh, owner of the company greeted me and I greeted him back. He first told me to sign the paper he gave.

I signed the paper and gave it to Mr Hugh. After that Mr Hugh asked why I wanted to become part of the graphic designing team. I said that I loved the work by your company and that I wanted to take part in designing your next game so I could do what I loved the most. Mr Hugh asked me if I was experienced with digital art. I replied no because I was not able to spend that much money on such equipment. Mr Hugh asked if I had any previous artworks with me and coincidentally I had my art book. I showed Mr Hugh my art book and he said that I seem qualified enough to get employed. I was really happy on the inside but I made sure I still kept my composure.

I quickly went home by taxi and sat on my couch laughing with joy because I got the job. After sometime when I got myself a cup of water to calm down, I remembered that I dropped my puppy at my neighbour's house. I quickly went to my neighbour's house and the neighbour looked like he enjoyed the time with my puppy. I took the puppy home and I thought that If I am going to officially adopt this puppy, I should give it a name.
