Chapter 20- K.O

The other part was totally on ' How the " But , why ?" I asked the Greek god standing before me . The moment I heard those words come out of his mouth . My mouth was ajar like for 4 seconds or so . I had worked for this as well . I wasn't enjoying the whole time , I had to attend calls , take your mood swings and try not to strangle anyone in the process .

Instead of replying me he held my arm as tightly , so tight it was actually paining . He dragged me off a few feet away from the actual entrance of the bus awaiting and said

" Remember one thing Ms.Raykar . You had crashed a elite party with no shame what so ever . This will not go unnoticed . As a result you will be not going to the event . You will stay here and handle what you do best . Take calls answer them and give me any important messages . " he let go of my arm and entered his limousine waiting . With a click of two fingers both the vehicles had already gone with me looking tear-eyed at the departing forms .

What had I done .....

I thought of going back to my room . Feeling empty from the inside I thought that taking a shower would be the best option to repent and also cry I guess. I walked along the long silent hallways that was until something sharp pricked my back shoulder blade . I dared not turn as the prick became sharper . I winced .

" Well well Lisa . What a pleasant surprise ." Luca's voice echoed behind me . Something seemed off why couldn't I put a point on it .

" Do as I say and walk ." He instructed in my ear too low for anyone to hear

Without wanting to end up as a corpse I nodded . The sharpening pain was sure to cause bleeding later . I walked silently with Luca following my each step . For any common person it would have looked as if we both were heading to the same destination , like everything was normal . But I knew better . The silence and the walking continued . He made me stop by pulling at my arm . Only to notice that we were actually face to face with my room . He leaned forward grabbed my sling and removed the card key . He put the card in the slot and unlocked the room . He ushered me in , my heart was already hammering the rib cage and not in a romantic novel way . It was dead silent as I sat on my bed and he on the chair before me . He hadn't moved an inch . After scrolling through his phone the third time did he actually speak .

" Lisa , How's Ethan?" He said and chuckled

" I and Ethan are both doing fine , without you that is ." I smirked . My head was getting heavier . It's like I was being held with balancing a baby elephant on my head .

"Little Lisa still fiesty . I like it . "

Something hit my head hard before going blank I heard a knock on the door . ..........................

" You aren't going anywhere "

The dark woods around me echoed . The wind harsh making my hair fall out of place , the cold so severe I could here my own chattering of teeth . Everything around here was dark gloomy what seemed like forever . With short steps I moved forward . I rubbed my arms for warmth it didn't make any difference . I could have sworn that it was cold as the artic , even my breath came out in puffs of breath .There were thick branches which I had to duck in order to get past them . They looked as if they were straight out of a horror movie . Long black branches holding the whole forest like a vice in its grip . The moon light shining calmly at a distance , the situation not helping at all .

As I made my way through the woods there was one thing that was really out of here . I smelled fire more precisely burning smell . It was getting stronger but I couldn't see a spec of smoke anywhere , strange I thought . As suddenly as it was I was toppled over and I could see two silhouettes standing above , they were screaming and shouting . I scrambled away from them and the burning smell was erupting from them the smoke came out , thick black smoke covered my vision as from the smoke erupted what I feared the most .....Fire

I began running with fire on my heels burning away anything the powerful element touched the branches which were horrifying me earlier were now turned to dust . The burning continued as the fire encircled me , the smoke making me cough as I cried out .

" HELP "

" ANYBODY HELLLLPP " 

My vision was getting blur my head was spinning but I saw grey again....... one last time muttering all my strength I shouted

" HELLLLLPPP "

" WAKE UP " I saw grey at first then slowly dissolving into blue , I looked up at Logan . His arms were on my shoulders shaking me maybe . As I got adjusted to the surrounding I saw some other face , Abdul and a person who had a doctor coat on . As I looked at myself I was on saline and my arms they had goosebumps all over . I was shaking as I held onto Logan for support .

" What happened ? Are you okay ?"

" Yes yes just a nightmare . I swear "

" Okay. So Melissa why were you knocked out in the first place . Any memory of it " the doctor asked

" I was knocked out I have no idea .No I just remember going to the hallway and I wake up and see you guys "

" Okay you have no memory about how you got in etc ."

" No doctor no I don't have any memory of it . Is there something I need to know ?"

" Your fine know take the tablet on your left and you are good to go . I have taken your blood sample for testing purposes , we'll get the results soon .Boys I'll be taking leave ." The doctor stood up and removed my saline before going out .

My mind was in a daze . I was utterly confused , panicked you name it . All I knew was that something bad had happened and if not for the boys I would have been dead by now . Abdul gave me the tablet as I swallowed it with a lump of water from the glass nearby .

" Your okay ? "

" Yes Abdul . I'm fine . What's the time ? How did the event go ? Did you have fun ? How long was I knocked out ? When did you guys come back ? -"

" Woah Woah missy . We'll answer your questions . But first we need to get you on the go ." He said vanishing through the door . I wiggled my eyebrows at Logan he just smiled . Abdul came back minutes later with a large cover . The kind of covers you see for tux the one with the zip and a hanger - What do you call it dang . So he placed it on the bed and urged me to open it . I unzipped the thing and behold ....

There was a grey dress inside .....

Grey.....

I looked at it and looked at both of them , they were grinning from ear to ear looking like goofy . I took it in my hands and examined it . It was indeed nice ....no it was beautiful . It had an embroidered corset with light flowing net below it  . It looked so elegant . 

" Why is this for ?" I  asked as their the grin became a smile . I looked at them in utter confusion .

" According to Mr.Kings appointments . You need to go to a business dinner now. It's already 8:00 pm . So you need to get changed " Logan said 

Oh yes I had completely forgotten . I took the delicate piece of clothing and rushed to the bathroom to change . After getting into the dress which fit perfectly, and twirling a little bit . I exited the bathroom and there was a pair of decent heels and my favourite sling . I grabbed those and turned to leave . Then I turned back and hugged my lifesavers . I went down the elevator to the waiting cab Abdul had booked . 

The driver knew where to go and was already paid . So i just had to sit and calm my beating heart from all that chaos . The engine of the cab geared to life as it took away . As the bustling city went past all that consumed my mind was the consequences of the so hell did I get knocked out?'
