Only You Forever

250 Words
A year passed. Their love became an unspoken certainty — a heartbeat, a home, a promise. So Adrian planned something special. One warm evening, he led Liana to the hospital rooftop — the same place where she once cried in his arms, the same place where he first realized he would do anything for her. Soft lights glowed around them. Rose petals dotted the ground. Priya, Jade, and Ramos peeked from behind the door like gleeful spies. Liana gasped. “Adrian… what is this?” He took her hand. “Liana Matthews,” he said softly, voice trembling, “you once told me you were afraid of loving someone you could lose.” She swallowed hard. “But loving you isn’t a risk,” he whispered. “It’s a gift.” “A miracle.” “A life I want — only with you.” And then he knelt. Her breath vanished. “Marry me,” Adrian whispered. “Let me love you. Every day. Every night. Every moment we are given.” Tears poured down her cheeks. “Yes,” she whispered. “Yes, Adrian. Only you.” The rooftop erupted into cheers. He slid the ring onto her shaking hand, pulled her up, and kissed her with all the love he’d held inside since that first day in the cafeteria. The lights glowed. The stars watched. And the hospital, the place where they once both feared and found love, shimmered behind them. Two hearts. One love. One destiny.
