AS SHE STEPPED OUT of the building, with the strap of the over-full duffel digging into her shoulder, her phone pinged that she had a text, but it wasn't the right tone for Cam, Sam or Dale. After a few seconds of debating, she dropped the bag in the middle of the sidewalk, causing cursing from those who had to go around her, and pulled out her phone. Looking at the message and the sender, she frowned. Dar. Talk to Sam. Ask about blade rumours. She got that Dar was kind of her new boss, but that didn't mean she liked him ordering her around. Relegated to messenger girl. She sighed. But it was where she wanted to go anyway, and there was no point in changing her plans just to spite Dar.
