CHAPTER 7As well as the sacred rooms, out of bounds to the woman, there were two areas of Llandover Monastery that Kyla had not explored. Below the bottom floor stables was a cellar that Anthony said had been unused and closed off for years. The other was Floor 4 immediately above the bottom Floor 5. It had taken a while to get used to the floor numbers that went backwards from Floor 1 being their main living area they came onto over the bridge and Floor 2 below it where they slept and so on down.
The weather outside was cold with a northerly storm blowing in that could turn to snow and it was more out of curiosity than anything else that took Sastra, Esme and herself to visit Floor 2. It. was accessed through any of the three main stairwells built in the monastery with a door from a land
