Chapter 3: Struggle

Between the next practice Julian occasionally texted Alex trying to get his attention, it worked since they both had nothing better to do besides homework. Friday night Alex has a dream about Julian, as Alex’s dream starts there is a soft peaceful music playing in the background. Alex looks around and he is in a room of white with Julian, as he turns to Julian he approaches Alex and the music gets softer and quieter. Then Julian speaks to alex saying “I notice the way you look at me during practice” as Julian puts his hand on alex’s thigh “I don’t mind you looking at me, just would he nice if you would have told me how you feel” as Julian gets closer he leans in for a kiss, with his perfect sized, soft, delicate, pink lips. Just ask alex started to lean in his dream ends and he wakes up. As alex wakes up from his slumber he looks at the clock

”oh crap!” Alex says not realizing he needs to leave the house in 1 hour to leave for practice “I am so late!” He rushes to the bathroom take a quick shower, after his refreshing shower he calls a taxi to get him. The taxi driver give out a honk to show he is at the house, alex gets his keys and gets up from his bed. He walk to the door and locks it behind him while speeding walking to the taxi.

As alex arrives to the house of the twins, Chris is the first to notice and opens the door before he even has a chance to knock “oh, thank you for the opening the door for me... again” which is follows by a laugh

“yeah no problem, your welcome” Christian saying followed by a flirtatious touch he give alex on his arm. About 20 minautes pass by, while this time everyone is talking about school and annoying teachers. The door bell rings and is soon followed by a knock, Christian goes to the door and looks through the window “it’s susie” Christian opens the door “hi Susie, we are all here and ready to start practice”

“Great! Let’s begin then” Susie says with excitement in her voice “to the backyeard, let’s go” as everyone in the group start walking to the backyeard, without Alex’s knowledge; Julian looks at alex and bites his lips as he look at him up and down. As everyone steps outside “okay go to your beginning positions for the waltz” Susie says giving directions to the group. “Okay, so since everyone know the simple moves already, we are going to move on to the hard part. So what you are going to do is, spin your partner then stand in front of her. After you are going to spin her 180 and start to move backward in a rhythm.” As everyone start practicing the dance, metzli and alex are the best at it. “Good job you too, keep it up”

As alex and metzli keep dancing, alex couldn’t help but notice Julian was looking at him. In a fright Julian says “yo, can you help me with this, it’s hard for me I don’t get this”

Alex replying back “hahah, yeah sure I’ll help you.”

Then Julian thinks in his head ‘Why is it I don’t get this, I mean the cutest guy here is helping me out so hopefully that helps me, probably doesn’t even think the same way of me. Just hope no one here suspects a thing or finds out about my secret.’ Alex see the frustration in his face then think ‘how cute, he’s struggling with the dance. It’s probably nothing, he probably doesn’t even think I’m cute. I mean let’s be real he is the hottest guy here, why would he like me’

“Okay Julian, so first you want to extend your arm then guide her spinning, then you want...” as alex explainy the dance, Julian thinks to him self ‘I know the moves, the only one I don’t know is which one to make on you.’ “...okay that’s it. You get it?” alex asked Julian

“yeah, I have the dance down. Thank you.”

“no problem, your welcome”

After practice ends the mom of the twins, Norma, asks who is hungry. Everyone raises their hand, followed by a laugh from everyone. Norma laughs, then she started making the food for everyone. As the smell of burgers fills the house and Norma calls for everyone to get inside and wash their hands to eat. Alex hands out the places to everyone, as he give a plate to Julian, julian’s hand touches alex’s, and the touch of Julians hand on alex give them both a rush and tingling sensation. As people start to sit down Julian notices alex doesn’t have a seat, so he gets up and says“alex here, sit in my seat”

“Oh, no you sit. I’m fine standing up” states alex

julian says back “no, you come sit down. I’ll stand up, or can sit I don’t mind”

“are you sure?”

“Yes, I am sure”

“okay then, if you insist” as alex sits down and Julian stands behind him.
