Chapter Forty Four
After Travis left, I decided to take a bath. When I was done, I changed into my white maxi floral dress and flat sandals. I put on my lip and cheek tint before I went out of the room with my cross-body bag.
I don’t need to bring food anymore since John volunteered to bring food to all of us. I just waited for Cayden at the couch while texting Travis.
To: Travis
I’m already done preparing. Just waiting for Cayden to fetch me.
I sent the text message. He replied after two minutes.
From: Travis
Dad’s not ready yet. But we’ll be there too in a few minutes.
I was about to reply when I heard Cayden’s car outside. I stood up from the couch and went out of the house. Cayden’s car was already parked outside. He opened his window. “Let’s go!” he shouted.
