Chapter Forty Five
The three of them were talking while eating. I got my food on a small paper plate provided by John. I was just silent in between Cayden and Jackson.
The first game has already started. It was a tug of war. It would only be between the two groups. The emcee of the program asked the students from the high school to participate. The student council members were called, too. Cayden and Jackson stood up because they were called by their co-members.
“Okay, folks!” the emcee shouted. “To make this more interesting, let us call on the Mayor’s son, also a student of the Clarksville High School to join the other students versus the Student Council members!”
