On the run

263 Words
I could feel eyes on me as I packed my bag once again. The “gift” had shown up again, a bunch of yellow roses and a teddy. Yellow used to be my favourite colour but once I started getting the yellow roses that quickly changed. Once they showed up at my door I knew he had found me again and it was time to move on. I left my tiny little studio apartment that cost way more then it should with it’s stained walls and leaking taps. I had $100 left to my name and it needed to get me on a bus and somewhere safe. I walked fast having put on my hoodie and tucked my blond hair up into the hood. I had thought about dying it another colour but I could not even think about taking the only piece of my mother that I looked like, other then that I took after my dad and he was a mean basted before me had a heart attack one night after drinking to much. I had long blond hair, green eyes and pail skin that burnt from being in the sun for 5 seconds. I got to the bus stop and bought the first ticket that was available to get out of this town and the eyes that were on me. Once I was sitting in the odd smelling bus I finally looked at where my ticket was taking me. Willows Grove. Let’s hope this new town is the fresh start I need and he does not find me here.
