I'm not sure if she saw the panicked expression on my face or not, bur hers definitely softened a smidge. which obviously gave me some sort of hope that this might actually help. Maybe, just maybe. "Did I say something wrong" I really don't know how to approach situations yet, or talk to her. I just hope this works out so we could eventually start the mating process. I hate not knowing what is going on inside that pretty little head of hers. "No, I'm just worried that they will burn the house down. I mean I have a lot of memories in that house" she said with a worried expression. "Well, maybe we can put four responsible people in the house, to make sure it is maintained and taken care of. Four mated wolves, two male and two female" she pondered over the idea for a bit before responding. " I guess that could work. I could place two of my most trusted omegas there. Leave some of my mated warriors there for protection. And leave some of the normal wolves as well. Those who would want to come with can and those who would prefer to stay can" I stare at her in amazement as she comes up with plans like it's second nature to her. "Great plan, I could send two of our omegas there as well and some of our warriors. We could hold a party Next week Friday so everyone could mingle and get to know each other. Afterwards we can introduce our plan to everyone"
"Yes, that sounds great. I will start moving my things in after the party. I thing our business is concluded for now, I need to get back to my pack to make arrangement" She said with a stoic expression on her face. "Yes, no problem"
"Maybe you can have dinner with me tomorrow at my pack, to discuss the rest of the business that is left out of course" Is it just me, or did the air get a little thick in here. " Yes of course, does 7 pm sound good?" she shook her head fervently up and down, a small blush tinting her cheeks. She quickly coughs and turns her head to the side. I badly want to just wrap my arms around her waist and pull her in close to me. She stands up abruptly as if she could read my thoughts. "Okay so, then we will be getting back, see you tomorrow" She pushes out her hand to shake mine, I look down at her hand then back up at her. I hesitantly accept the handshake with a small smile on my face. Once our palms make contact I can feel the electricity
shooting up and down my arm, I notice that she has goosebumps all over her arm and her face is bright red. She immediately lets go of my hand and storms out of my office. "Nice one a*****e, we had her in arms reach" My wolf, Spike said, he hasn't spoken to me in two weeks, after I said I don't want a mate. but after meeting Rosemary, my opinion about mates changed drastically. "Oh, so now you wanna talk to me" I said with a huff, "Just shut up and go prepare for tomorrow"
ROSEMARY:
After running out of his office like a coward, I try to find my damn beta. With no luck I just decide to mind link him, "And why the hell didn't you just do that in the first place" Bella said in annoyance. "Why are you so snappy, Is it because I left out mate?" silence, that's what she gave me. I mentally roll my eyes at her and wait outside at the car for my beta to one day arrive.
