My day was starting off like a total f**k up. My beta, Will is getting on my nerves about this mate thing. I need to find my mate and have her by my side within two months time. My pack is strong, but it needs to be stronger. There are many enemies waiting for my downfall because I don't have a luna here with me. I am definitely not opposed to the idea of having a mate, not at all. I know they make you stronger, but they can also weaken you. All I want and need is a strong mate, from a strong pack, and a strong family line.
"Alpha we are heading to the Blood Star pack in 10 minutes. It's Alpha Rosemary's birthday today and we were invited as VIP guests" my beta said in a very stern voice, he looks like he's on edge about something. "Alright, I'll be ready by then. Will, you look a little stiff" I said with a grin on my face while taking a sip of my whiskey. Will glares at me and says "Well I wonder why I'm looking so 'stiff' your highness" I know exactly why he's looking like that, I keep on refusing to listen to him when he wants to talk about me finding a mate. And the fact that I don't want to listen to him about my Alpha and King duties.
We arrive at the party a little late, just when everyone is about to go home. I brought one of my floozies' with me to the party so I at least don't look lonely. I walked into the building with the lady clinging to my arm for dear life, when an amazing smell hit my nose like a truck. I smell roses with a hint of forest rain. I look all over the room to see where the hell this devine smell is coming from, until I lock eyes with the most beautiful creature I have ever seen before. My eyes travel up and down her body, she has curves just at the right places, long black hair, icy blue eyes with a hint of gold in it, long legs and beautiful plush lips. I can feel this woman next to me kiss my cheek and do whatever she can to get my attention, little does she know she ain't gon get anything. All my attention is on this beautiful creature staring right at me. Then suddenly a loud possessive growl rips through the air "MINE!!" At that exact moment I start to pray for the lady trying to get my attention. This beautiful creature moves in super speed right towards us, one minute she's trying to get my attention and the next she's being suffocated. All I can think of is how much I would love to dominate this beautiful woman in bed right now. I snap back to reality when I see Will and some other guys trying to pry her off of the lady I brought with me. I wanted to touch her, just feel her skin. So I gently put my hand on her arm, looking at her with all the love I have in me, and in my most gentle voice I could muster up I say "Please let go" she snaps her head in my direction showing off her golden eyes, once she notices me, her eyes soften almost immediately. Just like that she drops the lady to the ground. She instantly wraps her arms around my neck embracing me. "What's your name princess?" I ask her gently, staring into her beautiful eyes. "Rosemary, but you can call me Rose. Yours?" She said, looking at me hopefully. "Demetrius Johnson, I actually meant your full name" I said giving her a cheeky grin. Then she just bolted, she just ran.
I followed her to a waterfall, she sat with her back facing me. Once she heard my foot steps she spun around, "What are you doing here?" She said with a frown. "Well you just ran away, so I wanted to see if you're fine" I gave her a small smile trying to show her that I won't hurt her or anything. "I'm fine, you can go now" I stood there looking at her for a moment before nearing her and embracing her in a tight warm hug, she instantly hugged back. But then pushed me away again. "Please, stop doing that, I can't do what I need to do if you keep hugging me" I frowned at her statement not knowing what she meant. "What do you me-"
"I, Rosemary Valentina Martens of the Blood Star Pack, reject you, Demetrius Johnson as my mate"
