The Hunted Hybrid and Her 5 Mates

*Chapter 5*

Garrett p.o.v

   I haven't quit thinking about Rosalie all week I have been going to the diner every day for the past week but have not seen her yet. I'm wondering where she might be, had I scared her off? Do humans feel the mate bond? I'm sitting here at work with Luca so I decided to get his input.

"Hey Luca do you know if humans feel mate bonds?"

"I don't know they might. Why you asking?" he replied with a weird expression on his face. He is thinking about something but I can't figure it out yet.

"Because I think I found my mate but she is human. I met her at the diner she works there but after meeting her I haven't seen her since. I have gone to the diner every day for the past week, but no one can tell me anything only that she still works there. Do you think I scared her off? You don't think she is going to reject me do you? I don't think I can handle it if she rejects me."

"Calm down she isn't going to reject you. What did you talk about that might have scared her off?"

"We didn't even really talk. I asked her what her names was then asked her to sit and talk for a bit because I wanted to get to know her better."

"She could be sick or something and that is why she isn't at work you never know. Humans don't have immune systems like us they get sick easily. I don't think you scared her off, did she act scared when you talked to her?"

"Not really it looked more like she was in shock and didn't know what to do."

"Well then just keep trying. If you want we can head to the diner and grab something to eat I'm starving."

"Sure lets go."

Luca p.o.v

 Garrett is talking to me about human mates and I have no clue what to say I'm still trying to figure out my own issues with my human mate. I wonder if he really does have a human mate or if he has figured out that I do and he is trying to get me to tell him. I normally tell Garrett everything we have been best friends since we were kids, but I am keeping this secret until I can figure it out myself. Until then it might be fun to watch him sweat over a little human girl. I normally don't go out for food but I need a break so me and Garrett decide to head to the diner where his mystery mate works at.

Rosalie p.o.v

 Sometimes I hate being a supernatural for the past week I have been hiding in the desert away from all civilization due to my heat. It happens every 3 months I have to spend an entire week in the middle of nowhere to make sure I don't kill anyone. when I'm in heat my bloodlust is unbearable there is no way I can hide my scent and I just feel miserable. I spend most of the time using my powers to get rid of all my excess energy and I spend a little time in each shifted form hunting exercising and working out. I have master quite a bit of martial arts due to my heat and having the time to train myself and it has come in handy a few times as well. The plus side of it all is I have gotten pretty good in all 4 forms and have control over all my powers, and can finally stretch out which I don't get to do very often.  The only other thing that will help is if I accept my mate but to do that I would have to reveal my secret , and I can not do that. It's to much of a risk that I can not take right now. So now I'm at home getting ready for work.

"Hurry up your going to be late." Emma is like my alarm I think it is her mission to yell at me about being late to something every day. I'm still feeling out of it today my scent is still a little strong but it's just my human but I still put a light mist of perfume on just in case.

 When I get to work it's the normal boss tells me what to do and I go abut my job trying to ignore everyone else as much as possible. I'm walking around making sure everyone at my tables are doing good when I'm hit with the smell of apple cinnamon pie mixed with the scent of the woods after a rain storm and instantly my panties are drenched.This cant be happening not one but both my mates are here and to top it off they are here together.I'm still not even free and clear of my heat I don't know if I'm going to be able to resist them. I wonder if they have figured out that they are both my mates.And if they figured that out did they know I'm not human? What am I supposed to do now?

Luca p.o.v

 I no more than walk in the door of the diner and I'm hit with the smell of peaches and cream and I know she is here. My wolf is going crazy jumping around and howling in my head, he is starting to give me a headache. I shut him down and concentrate on her scent but something seems off, it's a lot stronger than before and there is a hint of something there I just can't seem to figure it out. "Hey Garrett what did you say your mate's name was again?"

"Rosalie, why?" I stop dead in my tracks is his mate the same woman who is my mate. Is it even possible for a human to have 2 mates. A human has to be strong to have even one supernatural mate but to be strong enough to have more that is impossible. Isn't it? I need to find out before I let anything slip.

"Is she here today?"

"Yea thank god she is the one with the long black satin hair over there." I look over to where he is pointing and sure enough there she is. She is more beautiful than I remember.

Rosalie p.o.v

I turn to look and see the guys and see they have sat at one of my tables. Oh great can my day get any worse. I grab a couple menus and walk over to them trying to act as casual as possible. I can't let them know how they are making me feel right now.

"Hey guys what can I get for you today?"

"I'll have the same thing I had last week." Garrett responded. While Luca just watched me with a weird look on his face.

"And for you what would you like?

"I will take the same as him ."

"Ok so I got 2 waters 2 steaks rare and 2 orders of fries and 2 chocolate shakes then?"

"So you do remember me?" I have no clue what to say now , it just came out automatically. I'm supposed to be acting as if they don't affect me and they are just another person.Normal humans don't remember someones orders after only meeting them once unless they had some kind of connection.I am so screwed right now.

"Um sure not many people get a rare steak and fries." I tried lying but I know they could tell it was a lie hell even I could hear my heart rate rise a little.Without realizing it I accidentally let a tiny whiff of my shifter scent out. s**t I really had to get away.

"I'm just going to go put your orders in and bring you your drinks." I said turning away and escaping away from them.

Garrett p.o.v

She was acting nervous for some reason. Maybe she really did like me but why would she lie about remembering my order, And why was her scent different , she still smelled like peaches and cream but it was stronger with a small hint of something, So small I couldn't tell what it was and that was weird since I'm a wolf.I turn to look at Luca but he has that weird expression on his face again.

"Hey Luca whats up man your zoning out again."

"I'm not even sure anymore."

"What are you talking about?"

"What I'm talking about is how does 1 human female have 2 wolf mates and I swore I got a scent of shifter from her. But it was so small I couldn't tell what it was and then it was gone.And there isn't a soul alive that can change their scent. I'm just trying to figure s**t out."

"Again what are you talking about what human has 2 mates."

"Rosalie, she is my mate as well."

"What how the hell is that even possible?"

"I don't know but I'm going to find out."

Rosalie p.o.v

The guys food is finally done but I can't go over there so I tell the boss I'm not feeling well and have Christy take them their food and I sneak out the back door and head home.
