Just as we were about to leave, Onain said, "The mastermind is within your grasp, but the puppets to the puppeteer were partnered with your closest confidants. They will provide you with the information you seek."
Facing him, I questioned, "Why can't you just tell me like the normal conversation we just had?"
Laughing, he replied, "Young alpha, you will learn that not everything in life and love can be easy. You will face trials and tribulations no matter how good or powerful you are." I let out a sigh, nodding in understanding, and left with my parents. On our way home, the three of us discussed the possibility of accepting Onain into our pack.
