As I descended into the dungeons, the air grew colder, matching the heaviness in my heart. The three individuals who had drugged Nat were waiting for me, restrained in separate cells. Mia and Alex stood by with warriors, ready to assist if needed.
The first one I questioned was Rick. He glared at me with hatred in his eyes. "What do you want, Eric? Going to kill us now?"
Maintaining a calm demeanor, though fury burned inside me, I responded, "No, Rick. I won't kill you. Yet. I want answers first. Why did you drug Natalie? And I know Alice sent you."
