I sat next to my unconscious love's bed, holding her hand and willing myself not to break down.
°We need to be strong for our mate,° my wolf tried to motivate me, but even he couldn't help but whine and purr to comfort her and alleviate her pain.
My heart ached at the sight of my mate in this state. I had promised to keep her safe, yet I allowed her to drive herself. Look at what happened. I should have never let her drive her own car today. I'm a f*cking i***t for allowing it. Now I might lose her because of my stupidity.
