I left Nat quite abruptly. The emotions stirring in me were too overwhelming to speak. The trust and volatility in her eyes made it harder to stabilize my mind. However, the feeling of her in my arms made me want to never let her go. As I passed her parents on the way out, I greeted them with respect.
I reached the pack house and went straight to my father in his office. I knocked on his door and entered when I heard him say I could.
