Meanwhile, Samuel, Samantha's father, had just begun searching for his daughter. He turned to his beta and asked, "Any news on Samantha? She usually goes missing for a week or two, but the longest was about three weeks that one time when she ran away with that human and got married to him in Vegas. The only reason we found her was when she called me sobbing, saying there was an accident and she needed our help to clean it up. But it's been about four weeks now. Where on earth can she be?"
The beta suggested, "Alpha, have you had the IT team go through her phone and laptop? I think we might find her if we knew what she was working on."
