It had already been a week since the Alpha Council meeting. Dad had taken the homeless man and locked him away in a 'cell' that looked more like an upscale hotel room than anything else but with no self-checkout. The man kept repeating the same rambling over and over again. While we were convinced he was just a drug-addicted homeless man, we wanted Dok to give him a thorough examination before making a final decision.
However, there was something about the prophecy that he said while looking into my gaze that kept running through my mind, and I was not sure why.
