LAYLA: The banging on the front door has me rushing out of my room in fear of whom it might be. I have each of the burglaries in the apartment shut close which is why it is kind of dark when I make it to the living room. I wonder who it could be that was trying to break down the door because the banging continued. And just as I am about to ask for the identity of the person, I hear a voice from outside: “Layla, it’s me. Open the door!” “Caleb?” I ask, already making my way toward the entrance. I was still unsure whether it was okay to open the door but I had my instincts telling me that it was all good. “Yes, it’s me.” says the voice from outside. Instantly, I handle the lock until I have the door opened. Caleb comes into sight, already rushing in with his guard uniform still on him.
