Silence. Utter silence. That is what I can feel around me as I shut my senses from activities going on around me.
My eyes are wide open, allowing me to see what is going on around me. Still, I was sure it was ineffective with every other part of my senses already away from here. But the idea was to make any intruder know that I could see what was happening even though I could not.
