Unconsciously I take a look at my wrist but then realized there was nothing on it that would make me figure out the time. Now I know I should have listened to Rafael when he told me to get a device for that. I would have to hope that I do not get delayed any longer than I am already.
It has been well over thirty minutes by my mental calculation since I began waiting for Layla along the route to her apartment. We already had an arrangement concerning this which is why I have not moved away from here to go check on her at her place. Still, I am not comfortable with being delayed this way.
